Share Your Story — Anonymously

Long Island Crisis Center is inviting community members to share personal mental health experiences, lessons they have learned, or words of encouragement for others. By sharing your journey, you help others feel less alone. Selected stories may be featured in our social media posts to inspire our community.

Why Your Story Matters

Every journey through a mental health challenge is unique, but the feelings of isolation and uncertainty are ones many of us share. By speaking your truth, you shine a light for others who might still be in the dark, reminding them that they aren't alone in their struggle.

Sharing your lived experience is a powerful way to reduce stigma and build a more compassionate community on Long Island. Your words of encouragement or lessons learned can become the lifeline someone else needs to keep going, fostering a sense of connection and collective strength.

Note: Submissions should not be used for immediate crisis support. If you are in danger, please seek help immediately.
